RuneScape is pretty fun. Everyone that plays WOW seems to not like it, so you may not either, but RuneScape is free, and the storylines and writing are pretty witty and engaging. It's an easy game to play for an hour or two and then walk away from. You don't really have to grind if you don't want to, you can just go on quests.
