I did not expect to be called a liar. Especially for telling my age.

@Zanto_xsnes. I guess i couldnt believe someone would say such a thing. Thats all.

Meh, if you're really 40 then it wouldn't take much to prove it. Also, considering that this is the internet, nothing can be taken at face value.

Pics or it didn't happen. You could just say you're 43 - and we're supposed to take that at face value?

Sorry, I didn't mean to seem overly critical of you. With the new age of internet anonymity and the growing number of opportunities to lie - a new age of strong scepticism has been ushered in, nobody trusts anybody and everybody is a target for somebody.

I've seen 90 year olds on the site before (Not really 90, though)

As far as I've seen. I've only been a member for a month or so, though.

I don't think lieing about your age is funny in any way. Unless you can be like 2 or 120. Something unbelievable. Then it's an obvius joke.

Unless you create a thread to find out if you're the oldest person in the forum.

One last thing about all this. Lets say a kid did lie about his age for whatever reason. Would it then make any sence for that kid to take offence at people not believeing him. If he were lieing. Or is that to complicated for a gamer to think about. Good bye and thank you for your wonderfull input.

Generally when kids lie about their age in a forum setting it is so that they can troll. And some trolls these days go nuts when you call them out on it.

As for believing people, I'm one of those people that is fine with whatever people say(within reason of course). Some being 43 and being on a game website is nothing new to me so it is believable.

If he took offense to people not believing him for his lie, then no, he's only getting mad at himself.

But I don't know. You sound 40 to me. Even Wajor has the certain post style that suggests so.

Good bye and thank you for your wonderfull input.

Sorry for the skeptics here. If you're still around, please enjoy the site on my behalf.
