It could be because the admins/mods are cleaning out the site of all the spam and super short messages like 1-4 words i think.. i lost about 20 AP but that's the most I've lost.
i see that i also miss comments, but i never spammed.i dont know what is going on.BTW,i want to say that deleting comments below 7 words or something doesnt help so much, because if people want to spam they can do it in many ways that i don't want to refer here.
I lost 1200 points, and I know what's this about. Your comments aren't helpfull to creator of the game, if you say " great game i like it" tehnicly it's spamm, because you didn't give advice how to make it better, what to change an so on. So if you write, Controls aren't responsing, you should fix that, then that comment won't be considered a spamm.
Considering there have never been such a cap, and that the developers are not changing this site, I doubt it.
We are deleting a lot of unnecessary game comments at the moment. Which means that if you have been making short game comments, they are being deleted now. More so, if a mod is going through the games, we are a lot stricter on them than the automated search and destroy Cormyn is doing. This means that even if you haven't spammed, the comment might not actually be long enough for us to exclude it from the deletion.
Either way, could be a friend of yours deleting their comments for one thing, could be a hiccup from the database, could be spam you can't remember you have made...
Not to pick on ya Angelos, but I *did* flag a couple of your comments because they weren't constructive. Most of yours probably were, don't get me wrong, but the ones I found were to the contrary.
To remedy your lost points (up until future releases of AG3 where points may change), please put more thought into your comments of games. "I like Sonny II, because of its diverse, class-based system that allows for multiple ways of building your character."
That is more than adequate for surviving the flags/deletes. Provide your opinion and why. That way, the comment *should* be constructive enough to bypass the mods' laser-targeted hammer offenses. And yes, they can afford a laser targeting system that propels hammers from a stick.
A dent in the system or a friend deleting your comments is plausible, but the spam crusade is much more likely.
The rules we have about short comments and spam have been in place for almost 3 years. I do understand that users are upset about it, but there are users who lost THOUSANDS of AP because of spammy comments. One guy posted the word "fun" over 1,300 times on games, 250 of the on ONE game ... tell me that's not spam?
