hey, I'm manny6574. I'm 13 and I can program and draw(digital).

I am choosing my GCSE courses in 3/4 weeks and I am going to pick Computer Graphics as one of them, so I decided to pratice my skills so I get a head start. I made this thread so I can show my art and get constructive criticism. Also keep in mind that some of these are outdated.

Ok, here we go:

My latest artwork, took 4 hours of constant photoshop drawing yesterday:

And the rather old ones:

Traced from a Google Images Image(ca't referenc as I forgot how I found it), then recoloured:

The first one is best, also:

my internet was so slow yesterday, and when I pressed submit it lost the connection, so I thought this didn't post!

Thanks. As for scanner or the like: just use a camera, i'm lucky enough to have a printer/scanner 2 in 1

I have to say, I'm impressed with everything but the thread title.

Do you use a tablet?

I'd like to see an unedited version of the car, there are some things I'm unsure about but a few that stand out :P

Yeah, I'm never good with titles.

And I do use a tablet, I got it for christmas a year ago(not this christmas).

They are awesome. Have seen many like that but, what are the steps you do to make them(the digital ones). Do you draw them on paper first?

9 things were modded in total.

Thanks, I did not expect that.

I'm practicing for my GSCE Computer Graphics course, so I'm spending more time on the pictures. The course starts after the Easter Holidays.

Before this I spent 1-2 max on them before I got bored. Now: A. I don't get bored, and B. I am more careful when I draw them.

Btw, what is the usual size of the canvas when you draw, carlytoon?

Well, sometimes I draw them on paper first(for example my samus draw) but sometimes no(for example the future soldier). And when I draw bodies I use proportions(check in google for more information)

I try to use in photoshop a HD size(if my paint is digital).
If the drawing is scanned the size varies.

And thanks for check my deviant (^U^)

More big, more details, so a bigger size is better, but i usually use a 1280x720.
