Don't forget, item Familiars are Characters.
Yeah I guess so, but I fell I would not be able to capture Maka's personality and Black Star is too high strung for me.

I guess that would be a possibility. Blair isn't even a witch, she is just a sexy kitty with magic powers. Aside from the magical power of sex appeal.

I've just gotten to the episode where they introduce the witches en masse, so i can't be too much help here.

It's Professor Franken Stein and Death Scythe Spirit Albarn.....
Professor Stein is beast simply cause of his skill and madness, but aside from that not a big fan of him. Death Scythe well when he is serious he is beast, not to mention he is the most powerful of the death scythes.

You don't always need a spellcaster.
