Oh and should I go for higher Dex or a high Int/Complete human skill *****?
Int.
I was actually talking about creating a tunnel on an upward incline that would eventually reach the hilltop, but now I have a better idea.

Durgen attempts to tunnel directly through the base of the hill with his pick.
**** dwarves, always digging.

That would take days, assuming it doesn't collapse in on you.
Sure you want to try that?

You're a rogue?

Yeah, I was actually gonna take a scroll for this, but decided against it in the end.

All right, well, you spend the next week(minus breaks for sleeping, eating, etc.) digging an approximately dwarf-sized tunnel straight through the hill at ground level.
And your reward for your hard work and perseverance is...you get completely covered in dirt.

What are the rest of ya'll doing while Thurgen is playing bulldozer?

Detect evil and magic on the hill top then land and investigate.

Still hilarious.

Since I didn't specify my weight beforehand, let's go with the average dwarf weight (about 137lb.), anything lighter would be taking the mickey.

I wear a breastplate (30lb.), and carry a heavy pick (6lb.), greataxe (12lb.) and spiked heavy shield (20lb.) The weight of my other items is pretty negligible. That brings us to a total of almost 200lb.

Rats

Not even one of those.

The dungeon is more cunning than I thought."

Keep in mind, as compared to all the other characters Thurgen is a week in the future.
