I can't. The entire point of the Giant Leech is that you don't know it's hurting you until you start to feel fatigued(reduced to 50% health) and then you would need help from others because you're fatigued. I was nice enough to give you the hint through the Honey Badger. Without that, you would not have even realized you were in danger until you started feeling weak, which actually would have been better, because then you would not have gone ahead.

They have to reach you. You are no longer being wounded because Siber killed the leech that was on you with his fire spell. The cleric is near the back, which means he has to wade quite a distance before he's close enough to heal you.
