I expected at least a rudimentary description of what happened. We're playing DnD here, not Zork. What good is an infinitely customisable character and a complex system of combat, if it all just boils down to is 'you win' or 'you're dead' with no further explanation?
I'm just about on the edge here. I'm sorry, Dibs but you've been a consistently terrible DM overall from the moment I've stepped into this. Petty and avoidable arguments with your players, arbitrary rule decisions based on dubious and unverified rolls, going AWOL without posting a reason (or even an excuse) in the thread...and worst of all, you just give off the general impression that you can't be arsed. That's the worst part. You've done a lot of things right, but they're ruined by the above.
Well I would have been more descriptive, but Hyper really did just one shot it, there was no fight it was the first round then on the second round Hyper sort of just killed it in one hit. IT was literally a two slash kill. I was gone because of some personal things. I would have posted something but when I left my internet crapped out, it tends to do that at increasingly random intervals. In case any of you were wondering my grandmother might have cancer and while not an excuse just hoping that explains a bit. I know I'm a terrible GM and the only reason I am GM is cause Dragon wants me to run the game, I do try my best but it's not good enough and life gets hectic.
Alright well if you guys still want to go on. You manage to reach the cave entrance safely, there you see Tala. Tala you arrive to find the carcasses of the camels along with the debris from the cactus mine fields.
See, even that would have been at least passable. Please bear in mind that I'm new to the game and 'X killed it' doesn't mean anything to me (because I'm not familiar with how everyone fights.)
Anyway, putting that whole messy business behind us...
Thurvast treats the newcomer with general suspicion, but looks to Shem for some sort of visual cue. His eyes seem to ask: Do you know this one, too?

Oh and on a side note Tala does look like some sort of rogue/assassin/seedy character.

Alright that's all you needed to say.

"Who is that, and WHAT did you imbeciles do to my camel?!"
"Thurvast, An Orc?" Look of bitter resentment. Tala goes over and examines the dead camel's cargo (mostly outfits and misc travel gear). "Since when do Cactuses explode!"
