The PSP2 was just announced. What are your opinions
It seems pretty cool and packs a ton of features like
2 cameras
5 in. touchscreen with a touchscreen in the back
Compass and 6-Axis Motion Sensor
3G
Now we just have to see the release date and price.

Why can't we just have old-fashioned gaming consoles and handhelds? Why must everything be on one piece of hardware and be the same as another's invention? Competition? Does "being better than you" matter in the scope of delivering the best a game company can create? I swear to God, if they just focused on the quality of the hardware in terms of just gaming in general, the evolution of gaming would accelerate so fast...Bah.

That's good, but I don't care about those. I only care about the gaming quality. The features are a nice addition. If you don't have gaming quality though then it's just another piece of trash.
So far the design of it looks good. I won't purchase it myself, I'll just wait until a friend of mine buys it then I'll test it out.
I didn't bother buying the PSP Go since you could only download the games or buy the card things.
I have my PSP slim 3000, I think that's the name of it.

A compass? Thats kind of silly. Also why a touch screen on the back? The 3G is neat though.

well with all the multiple features it seems to be a way to sell alot of psp2's with the secondary market of people who are not serious gamers

I think the touch screen on the back is a sort of trackpad that will be implemented differently in each game.

If the PSP2 uses a disk drive instead of buying then downloading the games then I plan on getting it. If it's like the GO I see no point in even testing it out.

Because if you're not including everything you can you're limiting potential gameplay features drastically.

When you're holding the PSP your fingers are free around the back. It would seem like they don't want your fingers or stylus getting in the way of the screen.

Yeah. I'm not paying 4-500 dollars for that.
