It seems the games are now requiring an advertisement to play before I get to my games.
What's Armor Games coming to?
I don't care that the site has banner ads. That's expected. That's everywhere. But it's gone beyond that now. They've placed embedded ads in the flash games I've come to enjoy greatly.
I don't enjoy them as much today.
And I will likely quit playing/reviewing/commenting here if it doesn't revert to the way it was two weeks ago.
Ad saturation is coming very soon for me. Need money for bandwidth? Bake cookies and sell them. Hold an incentive for Armor merchandise in the store. Make better merchandise. Make your own windmill generator and sell electric commodities to power companies.
1 The ads in the flash games are not placed by Armor Games. They are placed by the game developers and they earn money directly to the game developers. 2 if AG don't pay the developer, in-game ads are the only way to earn a little money. 3 in most games, the ads are in the preloader, aka the loading of the game. Meaning that you would have to wait for the game to load even without the ad. 4 you're playing the game for free, man. For FREE. you are giving not even a penny to the developer that spent hundreds of dollars to build the game.
