Deadly Freaks

Chapter 1 - Where Are We Going?

Jack was excited when learned he was going someplace where he was going to fit in. When he had gotten a letter from the camp, he freaked out and laughed in excitement. Jack was a human. 15 years old and all normal. But everyone else didn't think so. Whenever he was in a fight, he was always somehow come out the winner. He didn't know how, but he had tremendous strength and incredibly defensive skin. He thought for a moment, "A camp with people like me? I wonder what they actually mean..." He shrugged and picked up his bags.

He paced back and forth along the sidewalk of his house, waiting for someone to pick him up. "I'm not believing this so much anymore," he groaned. A large shadow soon came over the neighborhood. "What's that?" He stared up in the sky. A large white round figure landed on the street. The windows rolled down, and a man in red goggles and a brown suit walked out. "You Jack?" he said, looking down on a paper. "Yeah, who are you?" Jack looked confused. The man walked off into the vehicle, as Jack followed him.

The white round vehicle started the engines. Jack walked off into the back, looking for a seat. He was looking out the window, waiting. As the engines roared louder, the vehicle started levitating. Jack's eyes widened, "Hey. Hey! What's happening," he asked. The vehicle soon started flying. He was soon freaking out and holding onto the seat's arm rests. He closed his eyes, waiting for it all to be over. As soon as he opened them again, the vehicle was no longer flying and the engines stopped. "Phew, that was frightening," he said, wiping his forehead.

As Jack walked out the vehicle, the sun shining in his eyes nearly blinded him. All he could see was a tall building, and a small group of people.

A story I think I might continue. I don't know yet. I plan this to be a story hopefully that will last quite some time. I hope you liked the beginning. If you think I can make improvements, criticism is welcome. Sort of. ~WorstSniper

Chapter 2 - Hybrid

When Jack got to the group, he noticed them as ordinary people. Nothing wrong with their appearance. Though, obviously he knew there should be something up with them. "Hi. My name's Jack. I look forward to being friends with you all," he said, trying to act as friendly as possible. Though all he got was blank stares. A man in a white formal suit and a top hat announced, "Hello everyone. I am your headmaster. For now, we won't be doing much. I want you all to get to know each other." The man walked away, inside a small schoolhouse.

Jack wandered around, looking for people to talk to. He decided to have a conversation with a lone boy, hiding himself inside his jacket. Jack put his hand on the boy's shoulder, "Hey. Wanna talk?" He waited for an answer. "I don't like to be seen please," the boy replied. Jack raised his eyebrows. "Why's that, huh?" The boy turned his head. He took off his hood, and revealed his face. Jack was terrified. The boy's appearance was a bear's face, with black holes for eyes. He had a slight grin on his face. Jack covered his eyes and cowered in fear. "I hope this won't be a problem with our friendship," the boy said. "What are you?" Jack asked, trying to peek through his hands. "A human animal robot hybrid." He put his hood back on. Jack took off his hands from his face, and asked, "A human animal robot hybrid? What's that?" The boy pulled up his left sleeve, revealing a human arm. Jack wasn't surprised. The boy soon pulled up his right sleeve, showing a cold, mechanical robot arm. He put the sleeves down, and walked away.

Jack was walking around, wondering how that boy had gotten like that. Was he made artificially? Was he human before and had transplants? Or is he just a natural mutant? Jack knew he was a natural mutant, knowing he didn't do anything to get his unnaturalness. He was just born like that. But that boy, was different. Jack had that on his mind for a while.
