Me and my friends are incredibly bored with Halo and Call of Duty. Anyone have a game, that isn't something trying to be Call of Duty, we (4-8 of us) could play together? Has to be a PC or Xbox360 game. Free is preferable too.
Gears of War 3 isn't even released yet, so why would you say that you played it? It won't be released for months so you can't recommend it.
The only multiplayer games that I can think of that resemble those that the OP stated are Medal Of Honor and Battlefield. Those are two great games that resemble Call Of Duty.
