My dad once had that he broke both arms at the same time at multiple places. What was really funny though was that he learned himself to still make a sigarette XD
My brother has had a lot of injuries, but the scariest thing was when his friend (not on purpose) chopped almost his whole thumb off. He came inside with his thumb at only a very little piece, YUK! Fortunately, he still has that finger
I fell and twisted my arm backwards while trying to catch myself... its the only injury that's ever given me chronic pain. I used to run 70+ miles a week, and you wouldn't think a shoulder would influence your ability to run that much, but due to repetitive arm movements that come w/ running my arm would start hurting about 1 mile in.... and then I'd just have to start walking a mile (or two, or three) back to my car or wherever I was at the time. there's a constant pain at the base of my neck that's related to the shoulder somehow... and there are sharp pains in my shoulder that hit me randomly just for existing. I want to be an ultra marathoner some day... I keep waiting for the pain to just go away like anything else. After 2 years, physical therapy, surgery, and more physical therapy it has yet to go away... I'm slowly being able to run more and more at time (>_> ~15 minutes at a time) ... which doesn't compare to me once being able to run 2.5-3 hours at a time and feeling great.... fingers crossed this will go away sometime during this lifetime
Well, my experience was a bad one. I play baseball and all, so one day during practice, I decided to go to center field. Probably the worst mistake of my life. After a few batters, a ball was FINALLY hit to me. I was going under it and dove. You all know whats coming.. I landed wrong on my arm and I kid you not, it snapped in half. It was the WORST experience of my life.. so far
When I was a kid, I fell and hit my chin so bad it needed stitches. Now here's the worst part: I had my tongue between my teeth when I hit the ground, so I bit my tongue really hard. The doctor couldn't exactly do anything about the tongue, so it just had to heal on it's own. It did heal surprisingly fast, though.
Either getting hit by a car (I was like 4 so I don't know if it's the worst) or breaking my arm.
Ouch i would say the car incident wad the worst. How fast was it going? My friend once got hit by a bus when he was riding his bike. He only broke his wrist and pinky finger luckily.
another one that is debatably the worst one i've had (for sheer trauma and life/death reason) was when i was 4-5 I got stung by around 3-4 ants on my right foot and had an allergic reaction. I swoll up and turned all kinds of pretty colors... had to go to the ER... spent the next 10 years going to get desensitization shots once a week which turned into once a month... I now kick and destroy all fire ant mounds when i see them
