Call of Duty has turned into **** lately. The game is the EXACT same bull. With just different weapons and graphics. I feel nothing different, no more things you can do. same ole same ole gametypes. It has let me down.
Well, replying to the OP. What new Call Of Duty? Did they not just release Black Ops just a few months ago? Now their in progress of a new one? Bleh. . . all these sudden releases are getting quite annoying. They should focus more on making the storyline longer and more enjoyable so that I and many others can actually enjoy this game. The online hasn't really changed all that much, just some new scenery and a little change in the weapons selection. Zombies is fun to play for some time, does get repetitive though just doing zombie mode with friends.
I hope they make the story better and longer, otherwise I don't see a point in purchasing Call Of Duty.

Dunno about that, I haven't played Battlefield since I played one of the games on my normal Xbox. . I think I should get this game soon so that I can rate it.

Yes isn't really a proper answer but given what you said, I'd have to say you're wrong. From your perspective, possibly however anyone I meet that loves Battlefield 3 never seriously goes against CoD unless they explain it.
The community of Battlefield is without a doubt much better, they don't complain nearly as often, they don't care if you use your advantages (like a "noob tube" and are more difficult to beat anyway. Not much to back me up, except my own experience.

You asked a question, I provided an answer and explanation. And I'm wrong? Most people that I do that love Battlefield instantly say that Call Of Duty sucks and they don't provide reasons. They just sit there and say it's much better without reasoning.
1) A new company has been formed by Activision JUST to make map packs for the future. I don't know if they will develop any Black Ops map packs, but I hope so cause first strike was a let down. Just give me Firing Range, Summit, and Launch. I'm good.
2) I would agree that it has become somewhat repetitive, but not completely for multiple reasons:
-Stopping Power was almost certainly supposed to be in the game. If you look at the statistics, ALL of the automatic assault rifles are 3 kills, 4 kills at distance, but have different levels of damage. If Stopping Power was in the game, the M16, AK-47, and Commando (along with the Stoner, RPK, HK, MP5, and AK74u) would be 2 hit kills, while the FAMAS, AUG, Enfield, Galil, and G11 would be 3 shots. -Another point on that is the multiplier for the M14. Because of the damage rate, Headshots make no difference on the M14. But if Stopping Power was in the game, a headshot with Stopping Power would be a 1 hit kill.
So in my opinion, Stopping Power actually would have made this game better because of the way the guns were designed.

Eh, Modern Warfare redefined the FPS genre; Modern Warfare 2 did nothing of the sort and Black Op's was basically a Cold War Patch for the original Modern Warfare.
I'm looking forward to Battlefield 3 but that doesn't mean I'm not going to give the next Modern Warfare a decent look over. Then again I'm looking forward to Brink coming out next month, should be a decent spin on the genre.
Modern Warfare 2 got me into the fps genre. I had never played any beforehand except for Goldeneye on my N64 :P
So I respect COD. And I do love it. But it's not god. And I think the fact that there are 3 COD games planned for release within the next year to two years is a little much >.>
The FPS genere is getting way oversaturated. There aren't enough sales to go around, so someone is going down.
