Hello Cabba! I am making an rts game and wanted to know if maybe you were interested in helping with the graphics of it? Also, im new to spriting, make a few things here and ther btu i cant get my weapon edges that smooth or detailed, so i tried to copy a few of yours, strictly for practicing, and nothin.. where did you learn?
@aburame: Sorry for not responding to your message, I kinda forgot about this thread. I don't know if you still hang around these forums, but if you do, let me know!
Anyways!
I've gotten back into spriting a lil' bit lately, I know these are not 32x32 sprites but oh well! I zoomed in 2x2 so you can see closely. So, have I gotten rusty? Personally I kinda like 'em.
Nice sprites in the last one! I especailly like mini Samus. I think that for the more alive things, such as the dragon, you should either ditch the outline or use it according to where the shading should be. For example, the top of it's head should be a far lighter green than what it is currently. Doing this correctly would make it look less like a cartoon.
Yeah Professor I agree with the point you have on the outline but since it's supposed to be a game sprite, and the sprites might have pretty dark backgrounds (in caves/dungeons) it would look weird without a dark outline for the entire sprite. You get what I mean?
And thanks Superstar~
Anyway to add something new to the thread here's a freshly made sword.
