ok so modern warfare 3 will be coming out soon, we all know this so post any and everything you know about it like the release dates and whats systems it is for. pretty much anything that is the slightest bit related to MW3 you can post here cauz everyone wants two know about it.
Wasnt MW2 like MW1? In MW1, the final mission was a chase between you and the last enemy with jeeps on the groundroad, in MW2 it was the same, the only change was boats....
True, but I feel CoD4 was original in that idea. It was a copy from MW2 imo. The first time was great, as you was with your team, the second? It was just the same 2 guys doing the same thing. Adding comedy to it instead of being so serious? Would be great. Cpt. Price saying "Hey Soap - this seem familiar to you?" as you're chasing Shepherd on boats or something.

The Story continues with Soap, Price and Nikolai after they kill Shepherd.

You fight in Afghanistan and some Civil Wars in USA and Mexico. Sgt. Cambridge kills Nikolai due to an argument, and after that you discover that Cambridge is after something seeking your help, then betray you after that. Cambridge escapes to Europe and you chase him all the way there. Then you chase him again all the way to Russia via Ground. You find Nikolai's brother Boris there, he helps you to kill Cambridge, so you track him down in Novosibirsk and you kill him there.
This already sounds way to cliche.
Right after you kill Cambridge, you are arrested by the remaining forces of Shepherd. Boris is also arrested as he is seen as your assistant, and you are scheduled for an execution. Soap and Boris then try many ways to escape from the prison. After a very long and hard thinking they are outside the gates, but now it gets harder, they stealthily kill two guards and grab their guns to aid them on their escape. They know that the new leader of Shepherd's army is Shepherd's cousin...Vance "Waltz" Morisson. Soap and Boris escape from the prison successfully while rescuing other prisoners on their way to help them later.
Already sounds too much like Black Ops.
The Final battle...many of the prisoners who were rescued die. Boris also dies and you are the only remaining hero now, you find Waltz and you meet alone head-to-head. Waltz quickly aims at Soap's head and Soap is forced to drop down all his weapons. Waltz then tries to shoot him but...the gun is jammed. A quick reaction is on Soap, he quickly takes a gun from the ground and kills Waltz...
This has been done a thousand times.. They need a fresh story
t would like to see them make a new character completely and start over i would be cool to have the new story line going on at the same time as the MW2 one just as a different person cauz other people had to be involved. and then it goes a little further past the end on MW2. and u would occasionally run into old characters like soap and price i think that would be pretty cool
IMHO, they should just kill off everyone in MW3. Infinity Ward won't be making it, and given the new developer's previous track record, MW3 will be mediocre at best. CoD4 was great, MW2 seemed too familiar. Black Ops had a GREAT story line, but multiplayer stinks worse than MW2. Problem with CoD 4 is that killstreaks still count in the next life, so I could just get a helicopter chain streak. Just my thoughts.
well guys this is a call of duty game so it has to be pretty good
there have been plenty of bad ones. i mean, how many times can they cut and paste a generic story line until even diehards notice it? the answer is, not to many more times. i will only buy MW3 if it brings something interesting that i haven't seen before to the table.
my hope would be to continue with the design your own player card thing but make all the letters and numbers automatically unlocked but then the ability to unlock different designs of it and if you want to remove innapropriat images remove the pickle like seriously a pickle its easy to expect what ppl will make and in wont be pickles and icecream for pregnant chicks
Alas, I weep for this game. It never had much potential to begin with. With two Modern Warfares gone (the second one spammed by n00btubes and martyrdoms), I already had low hopes for it. When it was announced that Infinity Ward wasn't developing it... well, you know the rest.
