That's a difficult question to answer, seeing that there are many characters and they are all fighting random people.

My favorite characters are Sub-Zero, Scorpion and Rain, though.

i agree on rain and scorpion havent used sub zero yet but also i like bo'rai'cho and blaze

sub-zero and scorpion has always been my favorite because scorpion is cool but sub-zero is just awesome mostly because i LOVE the cold and ice and all that stuff so i could be subzero himself if it was possible

But seriously Liu Kang all the way. I always win as him.

Scorpion. Cuz he says "GET OVER HERE!" And then he makes you come. With a grappling hook in your sternum.

I haven't really played much Mortal Kombat since the first two on SNES, so I don't know any of the newer characters. My favorite was Scorpion, though.

I got hooked on MK way back in the arcade days. After Katrina, I lost touch with it. I got MK 2011 a week or two ago.

My favorite would be Scorpion, but I think that Sub-Zero II would win (also called Tundra in some games).

I think it's down to Sub-Zero and Scorpion, but Sub-Zero would win. Scorpion is just bad*** though. I also like Reptile but not the best.

i think the best characters are probably Ermac and Noob.

scorpion is just BEAST and he is the best
