Only toyed around w/ Rift, seems to do WoW a bit differently, but it's too much like WoW for my tastes. Plus I don't get the classes, or races. I need mah Tauren Protection Warrior!
On top of it all, you get some dirty comments thrown at you if you even mention expansion packs.
Oh yea, the epic battle cry "FOR THE HORDE!!!!" becomes irrelevant in Rift's universe.
i have been an avid WoW player for a few years, as soon as i tried Rift though, i wanted to switch, its not so much like WoW as it is more like Warhammers online mmo. i like the real animation instead of WoW's cartoony animation. plus there are alot less trolls in Rift and the general Community seems to be alot nicer
