I like all the albums from Kill em all to the Black album.Their new stuff is not good at all.They were best with Cliff.Whats your favorite album?

It's a hard one, but i think Ride the Lightning.

i can garentee you that there is no album better by metallica then "and justice for all"

njaard metallica is my all time favorite band and just cuz if ppl dont agree with u thats makes them "not metalheads" lol scrub i have to say my favorite albums are Ride the lightning the black album and in justice for all garage inc is sweet but idk its just dif and theis newer stuff isnt that great but they are still number 1 and thats all that matters

I don't know if there is a "best album" by Metallica. I mean think about it...each album was kind of a different spin on thrash metal. Some were more melodic at times...some were straight up ballz to the wallz the whole way through.


I like Master of Puppets and the Black album though. I'm guilty of liking Metallica S&M too...don't hate me. lol.
