Well we're half-way through 2011 and we've been beset by a few good titles. Dead Space 2, Bulletstorm, Witcher 2, Shogun 2, and The Clap Trap DLC immediately come to mind.
But a bit further in the year - A northern Elder Scrolls, a Turkish Assassin's creed, the super-powered Battlefield 3, an oddly weighted Modern Warfare, and this is what Miyamoto had to say about the new Zelda game...
So what do you think? What's your game you're looking forward to? What's your predicted GOTY for 2011 based on speculation and current releases? and whats your Game of the 1/2 year for 2011?
(Since DN:F isn't out yet and june counts as the first half of of a year, I can't properly make a guess, but my vote for 1/2 GOTY is Crysis 2. So awesome!)
I might pick up the Halo's, but honestly I've been getting tired with Bungie trying to ride the series out for money, and I'm definitely getting Battlefield 3, but Modern Warfare 3 is only a maybe if they make the sniping any good, because Black Ops' sniping sucks so much I have to go back to the noob-tubers in MW2 just to snipe.
Almost all of them looked awesome. I didnt really care for Crysis 2, although I'm an Xbox fan I also have a PS3. It is a great game but I dont know, I just didnt get into it.

Bungie never tried to "...ride the series out for money" and if it did, source please.
And on top of that - Bungie isn't developing Halo 4. That's a 343 project. Halo's last game made by Bungie was Reach. They made a huge deal about it. Bungie will not make Halo 4. I repeat- Bungie will not make Halo 4. They're working with Activision on something new, maybe a revival of Marathon.
I really really want to play inFAMOUS 2. InFAMOUS was an awesome game, with reallly great graphics, and it had the awesome karma choice thing. I just cant wait for InFAMOUS 2.
Assassins Creed, Skyrim, Uncharted, Halo Combat Evolved (HD), Halo 4 Mass Effect, Fable The Journey, Star Wars Kinect, Wii U (console). And this are just a few New ones (some of them)
From what I heard, that was actually just a joke. Don't quote me on this though.
But if he isn't......that's very arrogant thing coming from the guy who made Wii Music and only makes Luigi's Mansion 2 because he wants to.
Not to mention I doubt Star Fox will sell well (as in compared to other First Party software),since it's basically an enhanced N64 port. And no, I don't think the OOT port will sell that much better.
As for games I look forward to....meh. All the things I'd want, come out in the latter half of the year.
