The Lost Polar Bear Twins
Book 2
From Cold as Ice series

There once was a pair of polar bear twins. There was Fur. He was an open minded, thoughtful, and caring
polar bear. The there was Claw who was a dark, cruel, annoyed bear. One snowy day in the north arctic two polar
bear twins had a dream of going to the equator because they were sick and tired of snow, ice, and being wet. They
decided that they are going to make this dream come true. After three days of walking they found the edge of the
ice. "Finally! there is the edge of the ice! I thought you said we would be here in a day!" said Claw. Fur
replied,"Well sorry that I miscalculated!" "Just get me off this frozen, barren waist-land!" yelled Claw. "I am
working on it. Give me a chance." said Fur. "Hurry up!" whined Claw. Fur uses the chisel to cut off the chunk of
ice that they are standing on. "This will be the life," said Fur in a relaxed tone. The ice soon broke off and
started floating away towards the equator.

Meanwhile in the penguin village, the party is still going on. There were cheers and whoops of joy all for
Icy. Icy said," Wait, how and why did you fake your own death. Its rather creepy if you ask me." Well, I did that
for a reason or two." started Freeze. "And those reasons are?" asked Icy. "I'm getting to that part. Okay the
first reason is that I knew Ice tried to poison me and I wanted to get back at him. The other reason is that I
wanted to reconnect with you again." Freeze explained. "Okay, whatever glad your back!" she said, giving him a hug
and then having an awkward silence moment. They tried to strike up conversation with others but all it became was
some small talk. The party soon ended. All the guests left and everyone of them when to bed for the night. They
needed all there rest for the few upcoming days.

The polar bears started there escape from the arctic fine. It went well. They caught enough fish ans seals
to eat well. They soon grew tired from not sleeping. They only meant to sleep for hours. They slept for days
instead. The first part of sleeping they were shivering. The next they were rather comfortable and then they got
really warm and they were discussed. Claw woke with a sweat and yelled," I am so hot! Why is it this warm?" "Well
if I did my math right we are exactly on top of the equator and I have no clue how this ice is still not melted."
Fur responded. "Get me out of this place! Now!" Claw remarked. Fur groaned and said," Oka!, Okay! We will float
until we become happy with the temperature." With that they both fell asleep again. They only meant to sleep for

four hours but instead they slept four days. There was a sudden thud because the iceberg hit something. "More ice,

really?" mumbled Claw. "I think we are in Antarctica!" exclaimed Fur. They soon tried to get off the iceberg to set

foot on Antarctica. They stepped badly and the iceberg soon tipped over taking Fur and Claw with it. They soon

struggled onto the land. "Pah! I am wet and cold here too! We should have just stayed there!" said Claw in an upset

tone. Fur said," Well I am going to find life forms here. Maybe there is polar bears here!" Then Claw turned around

seeing a light. He said "Hey, we are walking that way, towards that light. That is a town, like back home." Fur

said," I am glad you caught that." They soon started to walk towards the light.

It was one week later after the party. Icy was doing great being the mayor. She was well liked in the
village. She noticed that the village needed a name. So she had the penguins in the town vote. The winning name was
Snowia. Maknae decides to walk into the mayor's building to talk to Icy, get a cookie, and a bandage. She skidded
her knee just moments before going into town. Maknae walks into the building. "Hey Icy!" she said. "Hello," she
replied. " Can I get a bandage? My knee hurts. Oh, can I get a cookie too?" asked Maknae. "Sure!" she replied. Icy
hands Maknae a cookie and a bandage. "Was there anything you want to talk about?" asked Icy. "Yes, there is. I saw
something far away on the edge of town. It was huge and white. I never saw it before!" she replied. "We better get
Freeze to come with us to check this out! I wonder what it could be!" exclaimed Icy. Later that day they set off to
look for what Maknae saw.

The polar bear twins were slowly walking towards the light of the town. Claw said," What are those three
small dots?" "Where," said Fur. claw replied,"Right there. Are you blind!" "Now I see it. I wonder what they are."
he said. They walk some more and the dots slowly grow bigger and bigger. Claw and Fur soon could make out the
shapes of the dots. "Hmmm I saw this shape in a book before. What is it? Oh, I know! There penguins!" said Fur.
"Blasted penguins! I hate them! There a worthless animal!" yelled Claw in fury and rage. They decide to still visit
the town. Fur thought that they were going to make friends. Claw thought that they were going to destroy the city.

The penguins, Icy, Freeze, and Maknae, saw the two white things Maknae described to Icy. "There they are!"
said Maknae pointing. "Ah, yes they are." said Freeze. 'I should of known. There polar bears. How did they get
here? They live in the north!." exclaimed Icy. "I do not know. Should we warn the city and make friends with them?"
questioned Freeze. "We should talk to them to see what they will do and do not warn the city if they are rather
peaceful." "Good idea," Agreed Maknae. They walked for about ten minutes. Soon they were five yards away away from
the polar bears. "Hello," said Fur and Icy at the exact same time. "My brother and I are here because we were sick
of being wet and cold in the Arctic. The problem is the equator was too warm. So we planned to go a little farther
from the equator to be at perfect temperature, but we both fell asleep and drifted too far." Explained Fur. "So are
you peaceful?" asked Maknae. "Well I am. I am not fully sure if my brother is." said Fur. "Well follow us to the
city!" said Freeze.

Icy, Maknae, and Freeze lead Claw and Fur to the city. Icy gives them the tour of the city. She showed them
the mayor's building, the jail, the school, and the houses. Maknae found a house that Fur and Claw could sleep and

stay in. Later that day Claw over heard about the hole Ice story. Claw soon got an idea. He should get Ice out of
jail to help destroy this city. So during the night Claw quietly escaped out of his new house to go to the jail. He
only got lost once. Then he found the jail. He used his teeth to break the lock away from the door of the jail. The

door soon swung open. It was a rather small jail because it was a fairly peaceful town. 'Hey are Ice?" whispered

Claw. "What do you want you stupid polar bear!" yelled Ice. "Do you want to get revenge on this town and get out of

jail?" yelled Claw back. "Yes I would love that, Get me out now!" he yelled back. Claw started slashing at the

lock. Lock soon fell off with a clang. The two of them when back to Ice's house, and the devised a plan to get

revenge for Ice.

The next morning Icy woke up to a loud ringing. She thought what is that because she is not fully awake.
After a second she realized it was her cell phone. She grabbed it off the bookshelf by her bed and looked at her
cell. The name that was on the screen said Sheriff Snowka. She snatched up her phone and pressed talk. "Do you know
it is four in the morning? I was sound asleep. This better be important. If not, it will cost you your job!" yelled
Icy into the phone. "Ma'am this is important. Ice has managed to escape the jail cell. It looks like someone helped

him because the lock on the outside door was broke. The lock has scratches on it. I have never seen anything like

this!" Snowka replied. "Wait, how is that possible! We have to find him as soon as possible! You know what he can

do in a single day! The city could be trashed or worse, destroyed!" she replied. Snowka said calmly," Yes, I know

the severity of this situation. We will send out other policemen to look for Ice." Icy said," You better catch him

Snowka." Snowka replied,"Oh did I mention that there were paw prints in the snow leading in and out of the jail?

How would there be paw prints here?" "The polar bears, it must be one of them!" Where there two sets of prints?"

She exclaimed. "No, I don't think so. It was just the one set." Snowka said. "Hmmm, nice to know. I better let you

get back to finding Ice. You seem busy. Bye." Icy said. "No, I am just eating a doughnut. Bye, I guess." He

replied. They both hung up.

Fur wakes up to a loud banging on his new house's door. He leaps up from bed to reach the door. He opens

the door and Icy bursts in. "Where is your brother Fur?" she yelled. "Um, I just woke up so I am not quite sure."

he replied half asleep still. Fur looks around the house with Icy but Claw is nowhere to be found. "Where is he and

why are you here anyways?" Fur questioned. "Claw is a suspect for breaking out Ice out of jail. We need to know if

it was you or him that broke him out." She said calmly. "Oh, wow. I did not here him leave the house last night."

he replied. "Will you help me stop him?" Icy asked. "I will help you look. I am sorry already." Fur said. She

replied,"Don't be sorry. I am glad you are helping." They both leave the house and they shut the door. The problem

is that they forget to lock the door.

Freeze receives a call on his cell. He quickly grabs it to see that it is Icy. Freeze answers the phone

and said," You know it is 4:30? I was still sleeping. So what do you want at this hour?" Icy explained,"Well, your

son has been broken out of jail. Claw broke him out. The police are looking for them and we are going to look too,

and call Maknae so she can look too." Icy hung up the phone before he could start talking. He decided to call

Maknae. "Hello?" she said. "Hi, how are you awake? "he replied "At a party."she said "Oh, you need to leave there.

Claw broke out my son out of jail and we need to find them now. Why are you at a party anyway?" He asked. "I am 12.

I am not five, and I will be there soon." They hung up quickly.

Icy, Maknae, and Freeze met in the town square in front of the mayor's building. Maknae asked,"Where are

the police?" Freeze pointed and said,"Their over there." "We should split up. Maknae you look for Ice around the

houses. I will look for him around the square, and Freeze, look for him where we do not have covered. Meet back

here at 5:30 " said Icy. The three split up all going different directions. All of them hoping that Ice and Claw

will be caught quickly and quietly.

Back at Ice's house, Claw and Ice are planning there revenge. "What if we capture the little girl?" asked

Claw. "No we need to burn the city to the ground." he replied. "No, we poison everyone through the drinking water."

"If we do that we would poison then through their food!" said Ice. "Trapping the girl would be easiest. We would

ransom her for being mayor then we can burn or poison the city." Claw said thoughtfully. "Hmmm, that would work,

but one problem. We can not go outside because we would be caught." Ice replied. "Good point." he replied. "All we

can do is wait, I guess." said Ice.

Icy runs around the town square looking for Ice and Claw. She asks a penguin named Coldota," Have you seen

Ice or Claw?" Coldota replies,"No, why do you ask?" "No true reason." "Okay, rather creepy. See you around."

Coldota replies. Icy runs into the mayor's building in search of Ice. Icy only finds four cents and a paperclip.

She decides to look in the bank. She walks in and looks around the bank tellers desk. realizing Ice or Claw is not

in here she walks out."Well where else is there to search in the square?" she asked herself. "Oh, I know, the

Penguin Market!" she shouted in delight. She ran outside until she was in the heart of the market. "Where to look

first" she muttered. She walked past each stall looking under and behind them looking for Ice and Claw. Again she

had no luck of seeing the bear or the penguin. "They are not in the square," she decided. Icy left the square and

went home.

Freeze decided to go to the business area of the city. No one remembered to look there, and he was told to

search were no one else was searching. He walked into the nearest store he could find. He asked the manager if he

saw anything weird. The manager said,"Yeah I found a frozen section door open randomly. It was probably nothing"

Freeze walks to the frozen section of the store, and all he found was a random full cart. There was nothing going

on. Freeze thanked the manager and walked out. Freeze looked around for a minute or two until he found a store that

looked like Ice would go in. Freeze walked in calmly. Again he did not find Ice or Claw for that matter. He decided

to look in the freezing garden. All he found were frozen dead plants.Freeze decided to go home.

Maknae quickly walked to the houses. She looked around each house very quickly and quietly. She saw a house

that she did not check that was away from the others. She carefully walked up to it. She did not know what to do so

she walked to a window and peeked in. She didn't see anything. She walked around to the door and knocked loudly.

She yelled,"Hello, is anyone here?" She thought that no one was home. She turned around and she was grabbed, and

then pulled into the house. "Hey let me go!" she screamed. "How about not," said Ice taking Maknae's cell phone.

"You!" she yelled. "Yes it is me, and no you cannot have my autograph." sat ha ha, that was so funny!" said

Maknae. "Now we got the worthless girl. can we hold her for ransom now Ice?" "Sure but you can call later ."

A few hours later, Claw grabs the cell phone from Ice and calls Freeze. "Hi Maknae." answers Freeze. "Yeah

about Maknae, we kidnapped her, and if you want her back, make Ice mayor. Meet at Ice's house at 5:30, if you are

interested." said Claw. "You evil polar bear and you no good rotten penguin! How dare you kidnap her." yelled

Freeze in a loud stern tone. "No, we are just doing our job." said Claw. Freeze hung up the phone and called Icy.

"Hello, this is Icy." answered Icy. In a hurry Freeze yelled," Call Maknae's cell phone now! Claw and Ice captured

her and they will only give her back if Ice becomes Mayor. We have to meet them at Ice's house at 5:30 to get her

back!" "What are we waiting for it is 5:00 now, and it takes 30 minutes to get there! We will make a plan along the

way." exclaimed Icy. "You are willing to give up your dream of being a mayor?" said Freeze. "We will see won't we

now?" asked Icy. They both hung up and met up at the square to run to Ice's house.

"Claw, I am shocked that this actually worked!" said Ice. "Me too!" said Claw. "Ah, do all of us a favor

and shut the heck up! You know you are just jealous of Icy. You can only dream of being anything like her you piece

of scum that was scraped off the ground!" yelled Maknae in a horrid tone. "Who was even talking to you?" said Claw

just remembering she was tied to the chair. "Let me go!" shouted Maknae. "How about not, and Ice what are you going

to do first when you become mayor?" said Claw Ice replied,"Probably become a dictator." There was a moment of

silence. Suddenly there was a loud knock exactly at 5:30. Ice walks over and opens the door. It was Icy and Freeze.

"Come on in!" said Ice in a devious tone. Claw checks Icy and Freeze for any weapons or traps. Nothing was found on

them. "So Icy you got our message from Freeze now did we?" questioned Ice "Yes, I did. Is there a problem with that

now?" she stated. He replied,"No there is not. Shall we begin with out deal?" "Yes, we shall." said Icy.

Icy was just about to shake hands with Ice, when Freeze pulled out Icy's knife and ran to Maknae. Freeze

cut the ropes and Maknae sprung up from the chair and blocked the door leading to the bathroom that Claw was in. In

shock Icy says,"That was not the plan! The plan was to give him what he wants!" "Today is not his day, nor

tomorrow." Freeze says. There was a click. Icy, Maknae, and Freeze turn toward the sound. It was Ice holding a

loaded gun, pointing it at Icy. "If I cannot trade for mayor, I will just take it. Haha!" Ice said. "You wouldn't!"

yelled Freeze. "Try me then." he replied. "Freeze do not do this! Give him what he wants!" pleaded Icy. Freeze

sighs then says,"Fine sign but can I make a quick call first?" "Make it quick!" Ice says still pointing the gun at

Icy. Freeze dials a number says,"Remember to watch the show on T.V." and then he hung up. Not a moment later Fur

bursts in and tackles Ice. The gun skids on the floor and stops at Maknae's feet. She picks it up and yells,"Fur

get off of him, please!" Fur does as he was told. Maknae points it at Ice. "Now you go call 911 and turn yourself

in with Claw or I will shoot. Claw bursts out of the bathroom; he sees what has happened and puts his hands up. Ice

calls reluctantly and says,"This is Ice turning myself in. I am also reporting who broke me out. He is Claw."

A few minutes later the police come to the house and knock on the door. They get let in. Sheriff Snowka

handcuff Claw and Ice and they get shoved into different squad cars. Maknae turns to Ice, Freeze, and Fur and

said," Wow, that worked!" She turns to Fur and Freeze and continues," How did you think of that plan?" Fur and

Freeze looked at each other and said in near unison," It is a long story for another day that is not today."

A few days later in the courthouse, Ice and Claw are on trial for kidnapping, jailbreak, and ransom.

Maknae, Icy, and Fur all are witnesses and they tell there side of the story. Each version meant the same thing.

Ice only made one attempt at escaping. They pleaded not guilty. As the penguin jury deliberated Maknae says to the

two others," He deserved this. Why did you raise your son like this?" He replied," His mother left at a young age

and he never recovered. It saddens me deeply." "Oh, I did not know, I am very sorry." she replied. The conversation

goes silenced. The jury walked back in and they announced there verdict. One of them stands and says," We find

both, Claw and Ice guilty for all charges against them." Everyone saw this coming.

Ice and Claw were sent to different towns that had stronger prisons. Icy and Freeze sat down to tell Maknae

something, but you have to wait to the next story. See what happens next.
