The History Book
The book of history, the first one telling major events happening in ancient Europe. (Not real stories, just some based on my experiences in a game called Mount and Blade. Some are changed though and most are just made up.)

1200
A new land is started on the eastern coast of Europe. The land divided into 5 empires. Rhodoks of the western coast, Vaegris of the eastern mountains, Nord of the northern mountains, Khanate of the south coast, and Swadia taking the central part of the land, which had very flat terrain and many forests.

Every land had four mainlands, which served as a "capital" for that empire and was basically the big city. Each mainland had 2 kingdoms each, which were places where the nobles, lords, and ladies stayed. Each kingdom had 2 villages or towns each, which was home to farmers, villagers and other lower classes. That was the beginning of the land called Calradia.

1200-1205
1200-1205 being the time of beginning development. The empires could not last long if they decided to do anything big. So instead, during these five years, they spent their time setting up their government, laws, and so on.

1206-1208
During this time, the empires decided to take up more unclaimed land, just for the sake of growth and further advancement. There have not yet been any conflicts.

1209-1210
In this short time, many groups of bandits and thieves attempted to raid villages and towns, but fortunately were stopped quickly by the large and powerful armies of the empires.

1211-1225
The empire of the Nords siege Vaegris in an attempt to take over. Many battles were fought ranged, in high battlegrounds such as mountains and hills. Though, after many years of the Nords throwing their spears and small axes, the empire of Vaegris are successful in protecting their land with their advanced archery tactics. With this loss, the Nords ignore the other empires for a while, worried that another loss may end it.

1226-1227
A very short battle occurred during this period. The Nords alliance with Rhodoks, with hopes of winning a battle after their great loss against the Vaegris empire. The Rhodok and Nord empires begin a mass assault on Swadia, them being the closest opposing land. The Swadian empire quickly surrenders after a short ground battle, fear of a complete fall of their empire. Instead of completely losing their land, the Swadian empire only loses the northern part of their territory, losing a couple of towns and villages to the Rhodoks and Nords.

1228
The Khanate empire discovers unexplored lands, gathering many materials and objects along the trip. They soon take over this area, hoping that their growing empire would soon become unchallenged.

1229-1235
Shortly after the spread of the Khanate empire, their economy and society soon became corrupt, and citizens from all around rebelled. In addition to troubles of the rebelling population, the Rhodok empire constantly launched attacks on the Khanate empire, which worsened their state. On 1235 the Khanate empire became completely corrupted and had fallen after their short rule. The now empty lands had been left alone and the majority of the population joined other empires.

1250
After a long period of peace between the empires, a new one is created from the graveyard of the Khanate's. This new empire was named Sarranid, and lasted much longer than others.

1252-1253
The Sarranid empire builds a thick, tall stone wall surrounding their land to protect against any attacks.

1255
The Vaegris empire offers an alliance with the Sarranid empire, with plans to crush the others.

1256-1258
The Swadian empire attempts to attack Rhodok territory in an attempt to gain back land. Though, the Swadian empire is unsuccessful and is soon defeated again with the help of the Nords.

1260-1271
The Swadian launches their final attack on the Rhodok empire with desperation and anger. The Sarradian and Vaegris empire attempt help out, but quickly retreat from battle, worrying that their empires are too weak for a large war for now. The Swadian empire loses to the Rhodok and Nord empires, and their land becomes fully taken over by the victors.

1280
Trade routes are established throughout Calradia, boosting the economy of the empires.

1283-1284
The Sarranid empire is ambushed by the Nord empire via trading, but the attackers are quickly eliminated by town guards. Many more ambushes are set out, gradually deteriorating small villages in the Sarranid empire.

1285
The Sarranid empire locks up and stops entry from any opposing empires, due to suspicion of ambushes.

1288
The Rhodok and Nord empires become one, and rename themselves as Rhodord.

1290-1299
Vaegris and Sarranid declare war on central Rhodord to take over land, which would in turn connect Vaegris and Sarranid. The battle goes on for very long, having different types of fights. The Rhodord empire soon grows weak as they quickly run out of resources due to the war. Because of this, the Vaegris and Sarranid empire take advantage and send in a mass charge of soldiers, who quickly take out the weakened central Rhodord empire.

1300
The Vaegris and Sarranid empires extend their wall to cover their entire conquered land. And as a celebration for the new fourteenth century, the two empires combine and rename themselves as Vaegranid.

Just one question, when those empires combine, who's in charge? The whole point of all the wars in Calradia is that all the kings want absolute power and control of all the land, so I don't see how they'd be willing to share. I mean, most of them even stole their place on the throne from the heir of the throne and sent him/her to exile, so it should be obvious that they're driven by greed rather than a love for their empire.

BTW, they're called Vaegirs, not Vaegris

Vaegirs, not Vaegris

Oh yeah... I just realized that mistake right now.

so I don't see how they'd be willing to share

They aren't really willing to share... Know what I mean?

most of them even stole their place on the throne from the heir of the throne and sent him/her to exile

Interesting, I thought the order of Calradia was different.

who's in charge

Pfft I don't know.

I'm a making a story to go with every timeline, just to make it a bit more interesting. I'm not sure if people would like it or not though.
