Ok I'm making a thread for the art I make. I'll work on something every week I can. I will update this once a day (hopefully) to show you my progress in the project.

I might make small projects or big ones, depending on which I want to do. The work time it takes to make things may take longer when school starts. I would like you all to help me out on how I can do better.

I'll start posting things tomorrow (06/23/11).

This is called "Cloudless Day". I made it yesterday night. I am going to add on to it. Maybe make an animation, or just add more stuff.

It's a good start! Like you said, it definitely needs something going on or else it would just be too bland. Make sure to add a foreground, and a distant background, to make it seem busy.

Be careful with the sun, there's some things wrong with it at the moment. First, you're pillow shading, which is never good. Also, the colors really clash on the eyes with the bright blue. D;

All in all, I suggest you look at some tutorials around the web. You'll get better, trust me!

I've always shaded everything by pillow shading. But I will try the the way it says on the link.

I will make the sky color darker so it doesn't hurt people's eyes.

I know I'm trying to make an animation of someone walking. I'm not good with the how they move I've been working hard on that. I will add some clouds and have those move it will be a big project for me.

I fixed up the sign to make the borders dark and the post, I made the inside of the dark part darker but lighter, also the text doesn't make words I just made random letters.

I fixed up the pillow shading. I'm still not done with shading everything just yet. I still have things to add. I added three flowers because they looked nice. And behold Day 2's finished result.
