And there's like nothing for free to play (F2P). It seems they are trying to make people pay for all the extra features, weapons, and skills. Ha..good thing I got members for free. My cousin had an extra members card and give it to me. But afterwards I ran out. RS was barf to me. I quit since. That was approximately 2 years ago.

The reason the economy has gotten sooooooooo bad is because more people join and level up then they get things from quests like rune then they sell it, also as more people level up the mine rune and coal and smelt it and turn it into armor then sell it at the great exchange (just like what I do with mithril and aadamantine), it's a quanity of players thing.

I have a level 97 but don't usually play anymore. It gets so boring repeating the same thing over and over again. I had a 99 in fishing, which took 5 months of playing 6 hours everyday. On the good side, I was rich, but on the bad side, I wasted 930 hours of my life just doing that. I realized that it just wasn't worth it anymore.

They are a company of course, they hve to make money somehow... -.-

Yep, more players (and more botters) just mining/wood cutting selling for cash, killing monsters, getting the high level stuff thats new.
The more monster drops for the DFM (for example), the more items get pumped into the economy, more of something decreases the demand and increases the supply, which in turn decreases the amount of money it costs.

Which in turn decreases the amount of money you can make. It balances itself out pretty well. I prefer being able to actually GET those items as opposed to spending days typing "Buying blah" and then having some person ask for wayyyyyy too much for that item.

runescape is really good it takes alot of patience but when you have completed a mission or grown a level you truly feel like you have achieved something i play it all the time with a few of my mates and as the game is forever getting updated there seems to be no end to what you can do with it

I just created another account and started playing again, and I remember how much fun I used to have playing it! How I love nostalgia, even if it does remind me of the days of dial up internet... I don't miss the constant disconnection I used to get while playing. They've made a lot of changes since I last played, and they're good ones.

P.S. The grand exchange is probably the best thing to ever happen to the game. I remember when every bank in the game was filled with a hundred people, all asking you to buy their lobbies and runes.
