i am an avid gamer and will play all the consoles that are out with my preferred platform being the xbox360 and i was just wondering if there are any games out there worth playing or worth steering clear of in your opinions? i play all genres of games but recently i have really been into playing rpgs for example i am gripped on fable 3 right now and find the game play amazing it is such an easy game to pick up and go with there are 3 buttons for attack you create your own empire and theres alot of humour in the game that you can seek out. if there as one game i would recommend and xbox owner to buy it would be fable 3 but what are your recommendations people?
I was surprised by how much I loved The Legend of Zelda once I tried it. I highly suggest trying the most recent, Twilight Princess, or trying the soon-coming Skyward Sword.
The Super Mario Galaxy games are also pretty awesome (you can tell I like Nintendo :P ).
A game that surprised me was the Modern Warfare 1 and 2 campaign. I was new to the Call of Duty series when I got these games and I was amazed by how good the campaign was compared to the other campaigns that I have played before.
Surprised as in good or bad? I was surprised how bad the CoD games post CoD 4 were, and I'm not saying that because the guy above me posted about CoD, either.
Well I REally Love CoD Series, But I Get Surprised By A Game Called: [PROTOTYPE] The Game Is a 3rd Person Free-Roaming Action Game Wich You Are The "Mutant"(If We Can Say It Like That) Alex Mercer That Have Been A Guinea Pig For The Researches Of A New Discovered virus That Soon Became A Disease. Beetweeen The Disaster Done By The"Infected" & The Military Movement Along The Island You Need To Find A Way To Keep You Alive, I'm Sure This Game Is Quite Interesting For Much Pple beccauze The Trama OF The Game If Any question 'bout It, Answer At My Page
Fallout 3. I was astounded at how much you can do in that game. I have yet to play a game that's more open- world than Fallout 3. I heard it takes about a lifetime to get 100% of the items in that game without a strategy guide. The post- nuclear war setting with a 50's kind of style makes it feel so friendly. You also have to watch out for radiation poisoning. The possibilities in that game are endless...except killing any kids you come across, but they don't attack you. They'll just duck and run for cover if you open fire on people.
I know, I love it too, but it makes me want to get New Vegas even more. The only real thing I hated was how dark it always is...even in mid-day it is dim. Then again, it's like that for realism, so I have to agree with Bethesda's choice to have it like that.
i however was not surprised by how good fallout 3 and cod were i expected them to be brilliant and they didnt disappoint personally a game that has been really good and i didnt expect it to be brilliant is sacred 2 fallen angel which is alot like oblivion but the combat on the game is very simplistic using only the a,b,x and y buttons on your controller
I've said it once, I'll say it again - Shemnue is awesome. I played Shemnue II and the story line just keeps going till it goes to a cliff hanger, to be honest I wasn't expecting the story to go that far.
Any other games... Well I thought Minecraft was a laughing stock when I first saw it, in terms of flash games Starwish Story caught me by surprise.

Indeed! I felt like I read a book when I finally finished it.
But what really surprised me was when SPOILER ALERT
