Just posting a little preview of my book. Not sure if it'll get good or bad feedback or anything. I'll just put it down anyway.
A huge city with small wooden walls came into sight. "Let me in! It's Orbain." "Yes sire," A Grethinite soldier called out. Ratagi could barely believe it. "I haven't seen a Grethinite soldier in twenty years." "Well," Orbain said as the wooden doors opened, "Welcome to the past. . ."
In the country of Mans Telwar, shrouded in evil and despair, the evil king Anger sits in his throne. He makes slaves of the people, and rules with an iron fist. All of the true heirs to the three kingdoms: the eastern state of Greth, the spiritual people of the east, the northern land of Voraia, the war-like tribal men, and the people of T'Keth, the perfect swordsmen of the west. Anger is in control of Mans Telwar now. And there's nothing they can do about it. Or is there? For a bitter and defiant blacksmith, Ratagi, is given instruction by a mysterious man named Diamor to go to a place called the Vault, where there is only one resistance. Along with two kids, he sets off on a journey of a lifetime...
Nice write, or preview. I think I would like to see a little more of the book sooner, later, or (never?). I'm usually interested in these kinds of stories.
