Well, it is pretty hard to crit a story we can't read anyway, so please do put a link to it here.
As for the cover art, there are some anatomy issues (title figure's arms and hip, for example, some head shapes/mass as well), and the far background characters' shirt-colours kinda stand out.
But otherwise well done.
The title could probably have done with a different formatting, so that the 'head' doesn't float into the illustration, where it gets lost and overlooked.

@Cenere: My sister said thank you for the advice and she sees what she did wrong. She said she'll keep that in mind next time she draws something.

If she wants, I wouldn't mind doing a quick redline of the cover there, with some points on the "worst" of the issues.
Most of it can be glossed over as being style either way.

At least it ought to give some anatomical clues, if not, she should probably just continue as she started out.
