Hello and welcome to the hilarity of the apocalypses! This is a contest (judged by me), where, when 5 or more people enter, there will be a one week deadline.
"Now now thoadsy, you're going too fast!" is what you aren't saying! "Please, tell me what I should do before I can participate in your glorious contest." is what you are saying!
In the Hilarity of the Apocalypses, entries (be them written or drawn) are supposed to be hilariously over-the-top and amazing. The way you do this is think of some kind of wacky way to stave off the boredom and melancholy of the apocalypse of the week. In a world where death is so frequent, you sometimes forget you're even alive!
A good example is of This video which is about a guy in the zombie apocalypse doing a moonwalk into his own hilarious death.
So that's your mission! Be absolutely hilarious.
Criteria for entries: If you are doing a drawn entry, please make it clear as to what your character is doing int he apocalypse. I'm not judging upon how amazing looking your entry is, but moreso about what importance it has to the apocalypse and how incredibly awesome it is. (memes and puns will also make me squee)
If you are doing a written entry, be incredibly descriptive. I don't want a short story with an actual plot, but I do want to know what absolutely awesome thing your character does. S/He doesn't need to explain where he got the objects, nor does s/he need to explain how to use them. She just needs to be awesome at it.
As you can tell, I'm a bit more inclined to promote the drawn entries. But, if I get large amounts of both drawn and written entries, I'll pick my favorites out of both.
Apocalypse of the Week!
Why not go with a classic? Zombie apocalypse. They're slow romero type zombies that cannot use weapons and are quite dumb. Have at it!
