what do you think about the 3DS do you have one? I own a 3DS and I am actually posting this thread using one. In my opinion the3DS is a great gaming device although the 3D on it can be weird and messed up at times it still is worth the investment if you like 3D games or are a big nintendo fan. I own the legend of Zelda and the ocarina of time an epic Zelda game. If your a megaman fan im sorry but capcom cancelled the newest megaman game they were working on what a letdown. Contrary to popular belief the 3DS is going to come out with some great games in the next 6 to 7 months like a new mariocart. There may be several letdowns because of capcom if I remember this right they have cancelled around 3 highly anticipated games. If you want to play games from the old gaming consoles by nintendo like the gameboy advanced and the gameboy color and mayben even some older games but you still have to pay for those games but they are quite abit cheaper now. I think that about sums it all up. Please post on this thread about what you think about the Nintendo 3DS.
THe reason the 3DS wasn't selling well is because of the massive price and the fact that half of the time it was out was during the summer.
The summer is gaming "Dry Season".
With the fall and winter holiday seasons approaching, games will be coming out like crazy. THAT combined with the massive price drop of the 3DS will probably have the 3DS back on top.
Good point. I've played it at my friends house a couple of times and after like ten minutes I get a headache from it. I'd really only play the thing in 2D so I'd rather just buy a used DS instead, and not that many great titles for the 3DS yet. Or DS consoles period. The thing that really killed it was it price tag, $250??? Seriously? I would maybe think to pay $125 if the 3D was better.
The 3DS came in the wrong place at the worst of times. They only sold 214,821 consoles in JAPAN! I've got better things to do with 250 dollars than blow it on some fail of a console. Here's a link for the source.

I think that if the 3DS launched with more attractive titles, such as Ocarina of Time 3D, it would've sold much better. It released with titles that very few "common" people knew, whereas if it launched with Mario Kart or Zelda, they might have otherwise bought it for those games in a series they knew. The price tag that came along with it was also ridiculous; $250 for what? The 3D effect isn't worth THAT much. I do have some hope for its sales in the future, because all those new mario games coming out in the next few months should get a lot of people to buy it.
Well, it's only $169 now. That was low enough for me to buy it.

Thanks for adding those games psycholincarnate the 3ds has many features and you can buy games that were originally for the nes or snes the 3d is actually somewhat cheap think along the lines of a 3d tv and stuff if the psp had 3d it would be around $300
Its not making many people in only the photosensitive and people with vision problems it only makes you sick if you turn it the wrong angle bad mistake. The 3d technology in the 3ds is actually being used to make certain 3d tvs so...
The 3ds looks good but its just like a reg ds bad graphics sure its 3d but think about the games I would say the super smash brothers brawl game for the 3ds is going to be bad. So im not really exited for the 3ds.
if its the next generation they should have released more good NEW games for it. right now only zelda is good and its just a port... i think they should have waited alittle longer before releasing it. the only reason i MIGHT get it is to just play the new kingdom hearts game. thats it.
I thought the 3DS was not too good, I liked the fact that you didn't have to wear glasses, but I didn't like the fact that it gives you a headache and you have to be at a certain angle to see the 3D. I have a DS and like it much better, also I really didn't like the fact that with the DSI and the 3DS that they got rid of the GBA game slot, I have alot of my favorite counsel games for GBA and I dont wanna upgrade and not be able to play them!
Your talking like it's difficult to see the 3D, as long as you don't jerk it around violently, it's not hard to see it.
I've yet to get a headache from the 3D so I'm not sure why others are.
3DS got rid of the Gameboy advance slot because it's 2 generations behind. It's not like you see the playstation 3 playing Playstation discs.
Yes, they should have released more games for it. I can't believe Nintendo didn't realize that, but most games are released in Fall/ Winter. Game companies don't release games in summer often. Makes me wonder why Nintendo didn't release their system now, in the fall.
the image didnt work what a fail. The 3ds has amazing graphics sometimes but some things are hard to develop why dont you try to develop a 3d gaming console.
