Anyone notice how slowly the console is becoming the PC? Yes it has. I've stated this years ago. The console had its time and now they have to add so many bells and whistles to it or it won't sell. The PC is superior. It really is.
As far as Strategy games on a console, are you kidding me? Yeah right. Without a keyboard and mouse you just can't do it. As far as a decline in the computer games, I must sadly admit this is true. But I do believe its because gamers are now sticking to one game and trying to get good at it. Its no long a beat, and move on to the next game. Its buy one game, and play it until it can be played no more. This is especially true of MMO's, certain strat games, and shooters. /pb
I adore the functionality and overall power of the PC. Steam Sales do not hurt either. What I don't like is well, MOVING, in games. It's a bit off, and I think it's my upbringing, but I always found moving with my analog sticks much better in terms of most games. I also don't get how you play games like Street Fighter 4 on PC, but whatever.
Strategy games however, are an entirely different story. Point-and-click of the PC always!

I think you are right. Some games are just meant for the console. Like Madden and other sports games. They really are meant, and should stay on consoles.
As far as shooters, that's a grey area. Because I've played bother console and PC shooters and those are person preference I think. I personally enjoy FPS's on my keyboard and mouse. I feel more in-control, that and I always have to invert the controls on the gamepads for some reason. But with a mouse I don't.
Sure PC are great and etc etc. But the love of the console wont die for a long time. Having that little box sitting in your room with the controller connected. i mean come on, i dont know i love the console experience, altho once i have the money i will deffinitly get into PC
No, PCs are just better. Always have been. People are just getting more money so they make get better gaming PCs, or gaming PCs are becoming cheaper.
It's funny cause some of the kids in my class think im insane not to have a counsel, then one day they asked me how good the graphics are on it and I told em that they can be better than counsel, and that shut em up.
Actually, i've spoken for that matter with the owner of my neighborhood's videoclub. He told me that PC Games are generally on the decline not only because Strategy games started being published for consoles, but also because now with all the MMO's and other online games, the popularity of the games decreases. They have stopped bringing in any new PC games!
That's not true for most people, strategey games generaly suck horribly for counsel, why? because strategy games are all about hotkeys and without hotkeys it's akward, also the stick is not as accurate as a mouse so it becomes even worse.
Ah come on. I hope you guys know this is just a Console Fans vs. PC Fans competition. But for me it is just what you have used all time. I have a good laptop and I can master the game controls easy but me and my brother bought a xbox last year and I never use it because I suck with the sticks.
It's funny cause I sometimes play games at my friends house and when we play counsel, the controler feels akward in my hands.
They also look towards PC gamers and take the Hobbesian State of Nature into account to give us DRM, because they automatically view us as thieves and cheapsters.
It is too bad that people started to make torrents, or if only people made torrents of xbox games and stuff, then it would be even playing field.

I agree, the PS3 looks really more like a dvd player though.

I/ve actualy have taken to modifying games and finding out how they work, I haven't bought a game since assassians creed came out. But wouldn't that also effect the sales of counsel too?

I can't handel using a controler anymore, it just dosen't feel right... Also the mouse is alot more responsive and accurate, btw have you seen that raised stick they sell for xbox for more accuracy? I like the cpu better also because I feel more in tune with the game when I have headphones and have the screen pretty much fill my field of vision.
I didn't understood what you said, but for me, the consoles are getting better and better.
Just stick with PC and you wont have to do stupid upgrades for just improved graphics! I could just buy a new graphics card instead of getting a new computer! and thats pretty much what the counsels are telling you to do, they are saying "hey you wanna continue buying cool games? well then buy the newer version of our stuff, and then you'l have TWO xboxes, just one is a 360 and the other one is outdated so no longer matters, and also we'll be selling all the games on the market place for less than you bought it for."
