A variety of games suit me greatly but since I have been in Heaven with the RPG's that have come out so for now I'll say RPG's. Other types that suit me are shooter(first and third person), action/adventure, puzzle, and strategy.

I'm quite adept with Rpgs already, so I'd have to go in this scope; Rpgs, tactic, overall strategy.

Though, I'll add action games too because of hack'n slash titles like DMC and Bayonetta.

Shooters (Battlefield), and Sandboxes. Shooters are self-explanatory, but Sandboxes are pretty awesome. I just like the idea that you can go wherever you want and do whatever you want.

FPS is my pick, Shooter games are just fun when you have a lot of other people to play with.

My types of games are RPG's of most types, some RTS's, and I love TD games. I've played a few Action/Adventure type games over the years that I've loved lots too such as Fable 2 or the Gauntlet games.

It all depends on the genre, cause with each genre I can find a game that suits me. I hate FPS games but I loved Unreal Tournament 3...it all just depends.

I play mostly RPG's, strategy and TD. I'll pick up a good racing game every once in a while (one of the first games on the PC I remember being completely hooked on was Need for Speed), as well as the occasional shooter (I'm an unlikely fan of comical zombie shooters such as Painkiller).

All in all, however, I'd say I don't really pick games by genre. I'll give anything a try, and what concerns me most about video games is a good plot, no hiccups in gameplay and atmosphere. I'm also picky about music in games. (I'm not that big on graphics but certainly, if the game looks beautiful, I'm more likely to buy it than if it doesn't.)

Strategy suits me more since I love building massive armies, sending them to defend a location or attacking an opponent. I always prefer the Total War series or Sins of a Solar Empire series to my friends when they ask me what strategy game they should get. They end up loving it.

Second inline or least tied for first are RPG games. My very first RPG game I owned was Legend of Dragoon. I loved that game I probably have more game hours on that game alone than any other game I own combined.
