but i find the story of heartless' and soulless' to be bit childish and pathetic
...Kingdom Hearts II has an E 10+ rating. It has to appeal to younger audiences too. The game was excellent, and the way they mixed Final Fantasy into it was pretty freaking cool too. Even if some aspects are childish, you have to love the story. Also, the game has incredible music, not to mention the music on the main menu of KH2.

just because its age rating is that it doesnt mean the story has to be so frivalous and idotic. also the story is a bit too complex for children to be able to comprehend it
You've got to be kidding me! You're telling me tat kids are too unintelegent to comprehend video games? My friend was 10 when he beat the game, and he could tell me every aspect of the game. He could tell me why the developers put in final fantasy characters and disney characters, he told me who did what and why they did it, heck he could even tell me who sang the flipping songs! So I'm pretty sure us "little kiddies," can understand some of the finer conscepts of video games. Thank you very much!
Also d_dude was right it has to have some aspects that kids enjoy or else they would lose a lot of their market. My take on this game is that it's fun for every one and is a definent must play.

I think you will find such things are always explained in the Journal of the game, you could skip literally every scene and just read the Journal to catch up on or refine your knowledge of the game, it doesn't take a genius to read and then regurgitate that knowledge, if you want a good story I suggest you actually play the FF game series or the MGS series

you misunderstand my point, i was making the point that the story is stupid and very childish, i didn't say kids are stupid, there are many that could outsmart of a university student, anyways am getting off topic here, the story is silly and sounds like a terrible and washed up fairy tale
Ok I see what you ment now, but you know the game has to have some childish mixture into it, because it is more orianted to kids not adults. Although I do, however, know of many adults who enjoy the game.
