Hi, i am Lucas and i play classical guitar and i like doing little sketches in a book that i was given for my 13th birthday. I have only just started doing stuff in it but i don't know whether i can put pictures of it on this forum or not. I was wondering: Is it against the rules to put a picture of a piece of music that i have played into this forum? Is there any problem with me putting in pictures of some of my sketches that i have done?
------------------------------
I don't like drawing at school, i prefer doing it in my own time at home with my own techniques and without being told what to do or how to do it. I feel that i just like drawing uncoloured pictures of cartoons and certain things that i like to look at. I don't really draw the things around me or wildlife, i draw things that look interesting or cool to draw. As you know, i play the classical guitar and i perform in many concerts. I have a concert coming up and i am hoping to do well in it. When i was 11, i won everything i could possibly win for my age so i was bombarded with cups, trophies and medals. I doing my Grade 4 at the moment. I am interested in other users that also play the guitar - not necessarily classical, i also like electric and i sometimes play acoustic in certain pieces.
Just as Gantic stated, your sketches being yours, there's no such thing as plagiarism.
Yet, if you place an audio file in which you play something that was not composed by yourself and you do not place the proper copyrights, it could be considered plagiarism and it'd be probably locked.
If you'd like to talk about playing guitar or just music theory, feel free to contact me, I'd love to spare some time on that subject.
It seems like you put alot of passion into your art and music I hope you strive for greatness in the art or music you do. I would like to see your art too!
