What do you do with a puzzle when itâs missing a piece?

Do you look for it and hope you find it one day complete?

Or forget all about it, and just move on and live.

Or maybe make your own piece, and hope that it fits.



All these questions I want answers to.

And sometimes I canât think them through.

Then I fall down all out of luck.

I just lie there all given up.



All I have are these thoughts, which just make my brain drown.

All I get is these pieces, which never fit bound.

All I ever wanted was to live life sound.

And all I ever got was you messing around.



Thatâs right, but not all has been said.

Every time I think of you it seems as if you are dead.

Yeah Iâm the puzzle, and youâre my missing piece.

Youâre the part of me that never heals, the part thatâs incomplete.



I have a scar now, itâs as plain and can be.

It goes with me everywhere, I canât help everyone sees.

I was a victim, and now Iâm trying to heal.

But the only band aid that works is the one that is real.



You were the only thing I considered ârealâ in my life,

The only thing that gave me some bizarre urge to fight.

I donât know what you did, how I got under this spell.

But I do know one thing, I canât survive in this hell.



Iâm so numb now, my bones shake no matter what I do.

My head flashes back to the first time I saw you.

Sitting over there in a chair, new to high school.

You were so beautiful back then, you made a fool drool.



Look at me, all alone.

Lost my chance and now I moan.

Call me pathetic, say I dwell in the past.

But I hold a high standard and itâs RELATIONSHIPS LAST!



But I hope youâre happy now, thatâs all I ever wanted.

In the end Iâll live no doubt, still right now it seems Iâm haunted.

When will I find that missing piece, if I find it at all?

I suppose only time will tell, when this puzzle escapes hell.
