What's with all of these Chevy truck games all of a sudden? They're not any good, and they just make me want to go out and smash in the windows of my neighbor's truck(hyperbole, kinda). Is there a major ad campaign for them, are they paying the site, or what?
Armor games most likely signed a deal with them. They get money, Chevrolet gets advertisements in the form of (bad) videogames. They did something similar with a card matching game about the move Rio. I was a 5 second game that had no sound and it was extremely boring. People complained so much about the game that it was off the site within days.
(Sorry for double posting, no edit!) When I said 'they did something similar with a card matching game...' I meant that another company attempted to get advertisement from a game, not chevrolet. Just wanted to clear that up for anybody who may have been confused. Oh and "I THINK IT was a 5 second game that had no sound...(etc). Again, sorry for double posting, there's just no edit button.
Chevrolet will only gain haters with these crappy craps. Well, see the positive side: The contest is over, and Silverado Apocalypse Blaster obviously won. It was obvious since the very beginning.
If these games were made by the creators of games like Raze or the Elephant ones (Like Achievement Unlocked or This is the Only Level), I'm certainly sure they would gain a bunch o' bucks. They are really good at Flash-making.
