I showed some of my friends this and they said it was pretty good. So I figure why not show it to everyone. This thread is basicaly for describing a person, place, thing or experience. Now let me show you my writing:
While I was delving in dungeons searching for treasure, I came upon a door. This door was no different than the other doors Iâve seen, but it sparked my interest as to what was behind it. As I opened the door I stood aghast. An abandoned city stood before me, a glorious city built inside a mountain! That was not all there was, for as I looked up I saw giant glowing blue mushrooms hanging on the ceiling. These mushrooms lit the entire city, helping me to see all the way to the end of the city. To my right there was an unusual waterfall, this waterfall seemed to have an exquisite glow. To my left there were some old ruined buildings of what seemed to have been a market, I know of this because of the old signs that still hung on some of the buildings. When I looked straight ahead, there I saw a castle protected by water; a bridge led me inside the castle walls I could see how much it has deteriorated. So much fallen debris was scattered across the courtyard. The entire courtyard was ruined, all the entrances to the throne room had collapsed so I could not know what lied behind it, and the courtyard was filled with glowing mushrooms. Here I stand at a glorious city with a rotting castle.
