"Original" as in he made up the riddle, rather than one that he just heard somewhere. I've heard literally every riddle in this entire thread before, which means none of them are original.
Why ? Is it bad to tell a brainteaser I've heard or read befor ? I don't see a bad thing about it I'll give one I have in my book What is always in front of you but you can never see it ?
