Do you own a marker, or do you just rent? I just got a Tippman Gryphon from my friend for 40$, and I'm pretty happy about it.

I play paintball, I golf, and I dabble in the neighborhood/street football leagues.

yeah i own my own gun, i have 2 a rex R2 which turns out to be a piece of garbage(well i'm pretty sure anyway) and a tippmann 98 custom with an apex barrel

You're right about the R2. I play with a guy who had one, and he wound up trashing it as it just sucks in every category. I think he may have had a defect though, as his air tank kept leaking at the connection, and he tried several tanks to see if it wasn't just the tank.

But the Custom is nice. I was going to get one, until I had the opportunity to purchase the one I have now.
