There's thousands of zombie games and almost all of them havethe same objective:kill the zombies or kill humans.Post here about what you think about the tons and tons of zombie games here on armorgames.
Zombies are fun to kill. I prefer zombie games with story not like L4D where you just kill thousands of zombies to get from Point A to Point B not knowing what the hell is going on.
AG3 Beta has 104 games in the "Zombie" category. As for my opinion on zombie games, I find some of them fun, though it gets boring after a while on one of those games. In fact, I faved Infectonator World Dominator, which is the 4th highest rated game in AG3's Zombie category.
The hole zombie craze may have beven started by CoD I think that some of the AG zombie games are pretty good but anyway this belongs on either the flash games forum or the video games forum depending on which you're talking about
TheDeviantMonkey is right I never feel bad when I kill a zombie. No wounder I play Minecraft, It has Zombies from whitch ones noone is afraid, I'd never wanna see how the zombies in a real horror game eat your brains, play games from whitch ones you don't get nightmares.
CoD didn't create zombie styled games... The first games were Zombie Zombie and The Evil Dead. Anyways, my opinion on the large amount of zombie games, is i can't get enough of them. If you're looking for hordes of enemies to kill, zombies are the best option. Not only do they never stop coming, but they're slow and dimwitted making them prime targets to just slaughter mindlessly. I'm glad that people continue to make them. As stated previously, people get bored after slaughtering the same types of zombies, which is why we need so many games to change the gameplay a little. I mean if you followed the zombie game genre from the beginning, you would see how much it has evolved and changed. The types of zombies have also evolved; There's boomers, zombies that burrow out of the ground, hulk-like zombies, etc. I love zombie games and I hope the genre never dies.
IMO most zombie games people make are lacking in some sort of aspect or another. Honestly, I like the idea of zombies, but I don't think that any video game maker has put enough effort into the zombie style game. It has so much untapped potential, I actually had a really good idea for a zombie game for after I complete college, hopefully one that won't leave people with an unsatisfied craving for something more than hack and slash zombies.
Actually zombie games are all just inspired from the movies, Like how con expressed his last stand game collection, he was interested of making that zombie game because he was influenced by the movie "28 days later also 28 weeks later" but in my travels of other flash games, All there stories are similar and some are the same. The way they make a scenario is really poor due for being predictable comparing it to the movie. Here are some obvious scenarios that is already experienced and had been done a plenty of times.
1.Escaping the city Via-boat.chopper or an automated vehicle like the Humvee before the U.S government blows it up.
2.Fortifying outside of the city or outskirts of the city
3.Traveling in middle of the city at night time
4.Seeking the mystery of how this "Outbreak" began such as searching in a facility which causes all this.
And you name it, Maybe after college i can make a unique scenario instead focusing on shooting and surviving which they all did in a zombie category
