im not counting any turn based rpg (mostly). i love those games but usually the bosses are a question of level up and not strategy/skill.
because of that i have to say sephiroth from kingdom hearts 1 and 2 and kurt zisa from kingdom hearts.
they were really the only bosses that took me plenty of time to figure out and then actually use my strategy.
techincally sephiroth from KH1 is more difficult then KH2 but i had more troubles with KH2 sephiroth. it takes alot of skill AND strategy to defeat him.
absolutely, i can't say that i disagree with that blue rabbit, they were pretty hard, especially curt ziza or whatever the spelling is, although me my brother and my sister have all failed to beat sephiroth in KH2, i would probably have to go with the blue rabbit on this topic although phantom was pretty hard himself unless you have altima weapon and even then he's still hard
Sonic the hedgehog 2 Final boss. This... is hardly possible. Go watch a video of it. Basically you get 0 coins and have to hit the boss on a certain spot or else... you die. And we all know when you die you have to start ALL over again. Just watch a vid of it.

funny thing. sephiroth in KH1 is extremely difficult for the first time (in every save) but after i beat him once he is very easy to me :S
i never thought the phantom was difficult. actually... he only had 2 attacks and only one of them was dangerous. and that one is easily dodged (or even healed if donald helps). and even if you dont have plenty of magic you can always get eathers.

i always thought he was difficult as a child but not anymore. i honestly think that silver sonic (the boss before him but on the same level is more difficult). and if im not wrong you get like 6 or 9 rings in the begining of the level too.

same goes with jurt zisa.
What are you talking about? Sephiroth from KH1 is a lot harder then Sephiroth in KH2!
But my hardest boss ever would be the Phantom from KH1. He is one of the secret bosses like Jurt Zisa. You can only hurt him with specific magic depending on what the color is on his orb and sometimes his orb is hidden and you have to wait for it to reappear. Your friends are useless and just die, so you are pretty much on your own.
Dragon Ball Z budikai tencheichi(spelling error)Had to beat the Great Ape with Goku. It took me forever to kill him. Atleast it took me 500 times. So I finally went to a quick match and owned someone on hard. So then I went to the game and He didn't even touch me. So I would say I was the Boss!!!
There's this boss called Bonechill in Super Paper Mario. He would be the hardest if he hadn't started sitting there, not attacking. He doesn't even attack most of the time. At one point, I could hit him over and over because he would just aimlessly breathe ice on the ceiling. That being said, the hardest boss I've ever faced was probably that darned ice pig from this one Mario RPG (can't remember the name).
Lu Bu from Dynasty Warriors. On the easiest difficulty it still feels like you're playing on hard. He can take you out in about four regular hits and if you're not careful it can be one with a power attack. He also wipes out about half your army if you focus on trying to defeat him.

i just said that although sephi from 1 was harder then 2 i had more troubles in 2. maybe because 2 needs a more agressive ofensive playing style then 1?

i still cant understand why he is so difficult. as long as you have eathers you dont have to worry about killing him (without eathers it still works), he can only slash you with his hand which is easy to avoid and isnt dangerous and shoots some kind of purple thingie at you which can be easily avoided (and even if not donald will be there to heal you). what was EXACTLY difficult for you? avoiding his attacks? hitting him?

You left out the part where if you don't freeze the clock then he can kill you in 12 seconds
