You can also watch Nintendo's Pre-E3 presentation from yesterday here.
I'll try to take some notes on atleast the major 3 conferences for any fancy announcements.
And with that, feel free to discuss everything and anything E3.
I kinda wish I could edit posts so this could be neatly put into a single post, but oh well. Here's a few more updates from the Ubisoft and EA conferences and the rest of the Microsoft links
They should rename Splinter Cell because that's now the Splinter Cell I know and love (not a fan of the broad daylight gameplay and Sam looks younger and sounds different, I wouldn't mind the looks but isn't this supposed to be a sequel?), but I may still have to get it to find out what happens in the story. Perhaps the split screen will make it better.
Other than that I'm looking forward to Halo 4, Black Ops 2, Dead Space 3, Medal of Honor: Warfighter, Avengers: Battle For Earth, and Assassin's Creed III.
Halo solely for the campaign and local gameplay (I really enjoyed the original and second, and I think I played parts of the third, but I want to know what happens in the story). Black Ops 2 because it looks like they really improved the lighting and texture from Black Ops, I also like how the campaign looks - besides resembling a Michael Bay film the whole thing looks improved. Dead Space 3 because who didn't enjoy the other two? I don't think I've ever played a Medal of Honor game, but this one looks like it has some potential. The Avengers reminds me of those Marvel games that included a lot of superheroes/villains on the PS2 and Xbox; you could play in a team of four-five superheroes/villains and the story was pretty long. Marvel Ultimate Alliance I believe it was called? And last but not least, Assassin's Creed III - I was a bit skeptical about this game considering the time period it's in but from the gameplay we saw I think I'll really enjoy it. It looked like they made climbing/moving through trees and buildings and the combat smoother. Also horses, good job on them bringing back the horses. Now I just hope they bring back some more aspects from AC2; such as the city traveling (specifically the big maps) and upgradable shops, rather than how it was in the previous two where you could only buy a shop and that was it.
Aside from that, I need to watch the Sony stream. I went to sleep rather early last night and missed it.
Honestly, while it's true that the Microsoft conference was pretty horrible, I can't help but feel it's still a small step up from child actors petting virtual tigers. But that's just me.
Also, let's not forget this little gem right here:
