Well you see I use to love this game. I would play at least 4 hours a day every day. I had two accounts one lvl 96 who got hacked than permad, and a lvl 85 who got hacked....So I was wondering, is starting all over really worth it?
Runescape is actually an ingenious game (from a business standpoint). Jagex made the game JUST right so that they could turn kids into consumers (sort of like Nexon and all of their games, especially Maplestory, and Combat Arms).
They exploit the stupid, or the kids, both of wich make great consumers (just like Nexon).
Back to Nexon, however. All of their games are absolutely terrible. Only the incredibly stupid or the incredibly young could ACTUALLY like their games. They're cheap garbage. Even if they are free, I don't care. They suck.
Crossfire (has old school graphics) is better than Combat Arms, simply because it has well balanced weapons, GOOD maps, and a spawnshield that doesn't last an eternity.
This is coming from one who has played RuneScape for two thousand hours in a year and a half and is currently seventeen:
1. It may not be of your interest to start over seeing that you will only get hacked again since you either have poor security or big fingers
2. RuneScape is in no way a bad mmorpg like everyone is saying. It broke the Guinness book of world records as the wolrds most popular online game for a reason.
RuneScape is always active with atleast 90k players during american school hours and night and nearly 200k players active during the afternoon. It is filled with nearly everything you can do in any game and if you don't see that then you have not seen any of their minigames scattered around the huge landscape. If you feel its to spammed with little kids then upgrade to a member and its like a whole new game.
I only quit because I was unhealthy with it and i nearly mastered all the main attractions though I wasn't even a seventh of the way through the game. I think that it is too easily bashed by people.
I think im now too "inteligent" for this Click & Wait Game...
It isnt "Click and Wait" if you go to God Wars dungeon. That's pretty fun, click this pot, heal yourself, spec attack, you always gotta be ready to get owned in GWD
my lvl 84 got hacked. i managed to hack it back, dude was stupid and changed the password to something really easy. i got it back and its lvl 86 nw, with a lot of good member stuff, better than i ever was :P
