Here's a way to show other, less heard of bands, the limelight. Just to even the playing field. Here, I'd like people to name any bands they may know that others haven't heard of. Tell how you may have found them, and a few songs that you like. You never know. You may find someone you like. I'll start:

One some people may not know is Modest Mouse (Lead singer:Isaac Brock, drummer:Jeremiah Green, bassist:Eric Judy, and guitaristann Gallucci) . I've actually gotten into this group was from Weird Al. One of his Most recent polkas "Polka Power" had a section of Modest Mouse's song "Float On." I looked up the song, and got hooked. Some of their songs include "Float On", "Ocean Breathes Salty", and "Dashboard."

Your Turn!

I didn't really like krush klamath. The songs to me were terrible. It was mainly the singer that I didn't like. I don't think that he is a very good song writer.

Many people have not heard the fusion of progessive, melodic and thrash metal band called Into Eternity. My favorite song by them would be Severe Emotional Distress, and here is the video,

Protest the Hero is another one of my favorite, but unknown bands. Their dual guitar parts are insane, and the lead vocals has a wide range from high singing to low growls.
Here is their best song, Bloodmeat.

My last band I want to share is Skillet. They are a Christian band that plays soft rock, but can definately own at hard rock. Here is their song, Whispers in the Dark.

I found this myspace page.

If this is the band Interrogate that you are talking about, then I like them. It was some great heavy metal.

breaking benjamin, RED, and linkin' park are all very very well known. I'd be suprised to find someone who doesn't know BB or LP...

Another Band for me would be
Porcupine Tree-
Here's their Best Song they are a great progressive metal band. If you like Pink Floyd you would looove this band, they remind me a lot of Floyd.
