I think that Inspiring games encourage people to do acts. You can say the the violent content in some games can cause someone to act in a some sort of way but of course it depends on the person and his personality.
Still im up for a "violent game" anytime...

i do think so on small kids and/or mental damage suffering people because the game will stick to their minds and they will think about how cool(well...... this is what i think....) it will be killing people(im not saying it is cool by the way) or etc. they might be obsessed.... but as most people said not most violent games would make kids commit crimes

i think that the children copy the character of a game but i suppose that they aren´t going to do a crime.

Oh yes it does! My D.A.R.E. teacher said that a teenager took a 45. and robbed a store. The police caught him and took him to jail. when the police were transferring him he beet up a police officer and took his gun and shot him in the head! Then while other police officer was walking down the hall and saw the body he went to go help but the Criminal was hiding behind the door and shot the other officer in the heard. Finally when he was caught again. they were told to kill him because he was killing inmates. Right before the put him down he said "Life is like a video game". The police learned that the day before that he played GTA.

No, I don't think violent games encourage kids to commit crimes at all. If anything, the childhood, the environment in which a child grows up is the biggest factor. I would know, I've seen the same thing happens with people I know.

People are held accountable by their own actions, not because they seen it in a game.

Well, it can certainly put the idea of doing the crimes but it does not make your children do it. It is their will of doing the crime. It is also where they live and who their role models are.

I think that they are definitely a factor, but most violence is caused by upbringing, sociality, and the environment they live in.

Like drako, I think it shows them how, but it isn't what makes them want to do it (except in some extreme cases)
