Ok first of all if your playing GTA and your 6 then ya I would say it would, But it all depends on your maturity level (Hmm thats why there is game ratings) but still GTA is the worse you can get, if your playing something like Halo1,2, or 3 I would think it would be ok for a 13 year old to play because it isn't suggesting you to do anything in it at all. (or at least that's what I think) GTA on the other hand is getting way to realistic for it to be good for even 18 year olds to play.
So to conclude this, I think that most violent games don't encourage kids to commit crimes, but there are still ones like GTA that do.
When i was 11 one day i saw two kins fighting and i tried to stop them. One has been my mate from class and my best friend, I don't know for second one. But when class started he just didn't come. We thought he was sick but when class was over i head to home. I turned TV on and i saw his dead body on news. He was my best friend and I still won't forget him. I visited his grave today. Hope he rest in peace.
If the kids still watches power rangers, that really encourages them, and 3 to 6 year old will try to do some power ranger move on you if they ever watched that show, but after that I think they matured enough to not be encouraged
LEARN2SPELL! and no, for gods sakes ive been playing silent hill since i was 4 and i only play rated M games, only downside is, they get boring very fast.
my friends son is 10 and plays grand thef auto sanandreas wich dont have so much cussing like gta4 but he dosent really want to be the guy.. I think maby mostly no .. soo Well thats it..
In CoD all you do is have your eyes go blood shot and you can see the lines and then you wait a second and your ok, also if a 6-9 year old is playing on easiest difficulty, like 30-50 bullets before death, he might think that and join the army one day and run out there and get shot to death.
GTA Get money for killn cops and blowing up cars & running people over. (Makes kids think if they blow up a car they are instantly going to get 200 dollars!)
If parents did a good job raising their kids and teaching them about common values I honestly don't believe playing violent videogames could encourage kids to commit crimes... usually kids copy behaviour when they dont have hope for a better future. A job or something like that...
