I honestly do not believe that video games create crime, if they cannot tell the difference between video games and real life then they are clearly mentally ill. It is unfortunate that video games recieve unnessescary negative propaganda.
It's why they have ESRB ratings. 7 year olds aren't GOING to play a game with crimes. Use your head people. I for one though, am only 13 and play all M rated games and it doesn't really effect me.
I think that anyone who's gonna get a knife and say say "Cool, it's like GTA" must be mentally challenged. No normal person would be affected that much.
But if you're going to talk about things that influence children you could go into movies, peers, news, family and the type of neighbourhood they live in.
If you let any kid play video games from ayoung age yeah they are going to think that its okay to go kill people. but if you are a mature person, you should know that what video games feature are wrong and should not be attempted. Thats why they rate video games
Ok the ratings on voilent games are there for a reason.I think a 17 year old is old enough to know that Its not really like what you see in games like GTA and I think that saying the reason you commited a crime is because of a video game is total Bull****.
