The thing about runescape is u can be like all the jobs unlike MS where u haft to be 1 job. In RS u hav cool skills to do like mine fish etc. in ms u need to kill for ores and pay to make wepons and stuff runescapeu just need the skill and supplies. Skills r a way to make money on rs as in ms u need to gach or merch for items. in rs u hav ge (grand exchange) where u can buy and sell anything u want to just put in some money and w8 for it to buy or sell. also u can pk (people kill in rs) unlike ms to test ur real combat abilities. in ms u hav a wide selection of skills to choose from. the thing i like bout ms is u can control ur attks and movement by arrow keys where ur best frend in rs is ur mouse. 1st of all in rs there arent a lot of armors to choose from so u really haft to be a mem to hav fun. in ms u dont haft to pay for membership but u can pay for nx which u use to buy clothes pets and otha stuff which u dont need but it helps such as 2x exp or drop. in ms u need to buy potions to train or it is impossible.in rs it is optional.ms has helpful skills to such as haste which givs u more speed. wen rs doesnt. ms has a better buddy system than rs. in ms u can find ur frends like their location in rs u cant. there r also partys wich u can pq with or train with. every time u kill a monster u share the exp.guilds in ms r wayyyyyyyyyyyyy better than rs clan chat cuz every time u log off u leave da clan in ms u can stay forever. in rs u hatf to pay 5$ a month 4 membership. in ms u pay 25$ for 25k nx. which lasts for three months. really u sorta need nx to look good. cuz u dont wanna look ugly. ms has more quest den rs.in rs u dont really need to look good. ms is more interactive than rs. in rs u can hav a bank acct to store all ur goods but ms u just hav a big inventory. wat i say is if ur lookin for frends play ms if ur for just combat and killing go for rs. each games hav their ups and downs.
um maplestory never played but the commercials show some suck my balls graphics and i played rs for like a year cause i liked it for like 5 months then i was just playing because my brother did then he quit.... so i quit with a lev 118 that i never play w00t for wasteing my life!!
Definetly Runescape you can swich to do anything. Ranger,Warrior,Mage,Miner,Runecrafter,etc. I think there are about 24 or so skills(srry havent played in awhile so not sure exactly on the number) so that means you can be about 24 things. The are also well over thousands of things to do in both F2p worlds and Mems worlds.(Mem = Memmber) So I have been a mem and it was really cool well over 100 more quest and you can get cards to pay for a certain amount of months of membership. Even if you dont get the cards they have stuff you buy thats about the game. Also the actual membership fee is only like $3 for 3 months gets a little more for each month but if you do the math it will still be about $1 a month. ( i thin it gets less with each month remeber havent played in awhile) So i would recomend RS to anyone. Also Jagex has made another site called FunOrb but thats not what this thread is about so you will have to look into that one to find out what it is.
