Let's hear the most terrifying thing that ever happened to you. Here's mine, it's a bit gruesome, so it's definitely not for the faint of heart.

So, this happened around a year ago, and I can still remember it vividly. I was at home, sick, while the rest of my family was grocery shopping. I started to feel a bit better, and got up to go play with my cat, because she seemed a bit worried about me. So I found her little toy on the string, and started playing. Y'know, that game where the cat tries to snag the toy, but pull it up just in time? Well I was playing that game, and then swung my arm up too fast and high. Above my head was a ceiling fan, the type with the glass light on the bottom. The glass they used for that light is at least an inch and a half thick. Anyways, my hand hit the glass, and I heard shattering glass. My cat ran away, but I bent down on one knee and covered the back of my head with my hands. As pieces of glass fell all around me, I suddenly felt an incredibly sharp pain in my hand. I got up, and looked at my hand, to see a piece of glass had impaled it right through. I limped (another piece of glass had gone loosely into my leg, but fell out.) to the sink, pulled the piece of glass out of my hand, turned on the cold water, put my hand under it, and proceeded to go unconscious. My family came home to see broken glass and a trail all over the room, the tap running on high, and me, showing no signs of life, with a cut leg and a hole in my hand. I obviously scared them badly, but I came to pretty quickly. The scary part of this incident, was the fact I put my hands over the part of the head, at the back, where theres a little soft spot, between the neck and skull. If I hadn't had the presence of mind to do that, my family would've come home to an even worse story.

That's the scariest thing that ever happened to me.

Eh, my life is truly dull. I mean like, there is never any need for panic because what you think is actually something else. That makes no sense at all...

I almost got hitted by a car twice

I now someone who owns a blue minivan, with really dark tinted windows, and whoever it is has an uncanny way of mysteriously nearly hitting me whenever it sees me. One time, I was crossing the road, and the person saw me, and hit the gas as hard as they could. I don't know why, but I just kept walking, didn't speed up or run. I got across the road, and about half a second later the van flew by.

For me its the exact opposite pyro222.It's just me and my two parents since my sister is in college, and all of my other relatives live in Mississippi.Again its very quiet around here......Unless one of my friends come over. Also the laws here are way too strict nowadays. The whole city used to be like Detroit or something, but now they replaced all the strip clubs and bars, with 3 story beach homes that only the richest people can afford. Our urban ghetto pretty much turned into a urban-suburb.I don't even think that's possible.Anyways no one really has bad stories around here, unless you go to my sisters neighborhood, since the people she was living with got robbed.Anyways yeah the second story was probably the most interesting, but I can't seem to remember the name of the person who wrote it.Oh well.

Geez, BASHA are u serious!? That is one crazy story. I'm amazed at how you reacted, punching that guy in the gut! I probably would've curled up into a ball and sobbed until they either killed me or left me alone. You've got more guts than I, BASHA (and apparently, a stronger punch!).

Bashas attackers were amateur, probably imitating a movie or something. Real muggers try to avoid conflict completely, and just get the money.

true that this wasn't the first time I've been mugged and it was their lack of experience that got me in that situation, I mean comeon a fourteen yearold kid with a worn down outfit why would I have money

They probably were a bunch of punks who wanted to attack someone...not really caring who. Did the police ever catch these people?
