Unfortunately, those are the anime that everyone knows and the differientations of whose the devoted Death Note/Naruto/Bleach fans and the fans that recently got into the anime but act bananas (Because it's Anime!) gets really hard. I like niche ones more, similar to how a B-movie is like in the industry. Nevertheless, I don't really watch anime, I'd rather read the manga. And on that, it's Mahou Sensei Negima.
(This thread really is in the wrong place but since it's a fixture here, I'm certainly not one to complain!)
I also prefer manga to anime- why? Because manga seems to have far more opportunity to explore the various facets in the relationships and the psychological situations, particular the pivotal moments and decision making of characters. The only advantage of anime over manga is in the depiction of action and perhaps in the atmospheric constructs (e.g. music) but for the most part I do not feel that this is taken advantage of...part of the reason for this is obviously because I'm not Japanese, nor do I understand Japanese (on that note, I'd prefer even crappy subtitles to dubbing).
Like anything, I don't care how popular something is- I look for innovation and depth. Bleach isn't at all bad in this respect, but I really do wonder...can somebody tell me what's with the Spanish aesthetic with the arrancar and Hueco Mundo and all that? I'm really curious!
i like to watch anime when im bored - realy brightens everything up =) i like naruto and bleach. They are both different so i dont think one is better than the other - and i dont bother to watch any other ones, or read the mangas.---- o yer i think cosplay and that is a little far when u like anime - just makes peopel look funny
