There is far more than one mp3 player to compare against the Ipod, and the Ipod is actually an mp3 player...so, your essentially asking: PC or Dell. Its the same thing...

i agree with eyetwitch also...basically same...i don't care which as long as i can listen to them through the computer...i have a 5 year old Ipod that was given to me as a gift and i haven't gotten a new one...

iPods suck. They always have trouble for the first couple generations, and apple is, overall, a horrible company. Apple is overrated, and too full of themselves. There are products that are half the price but do the same damn thing. Only reason why apple sells anything is because of their insane amounts of money going into pure advertising.

BTW, iPods are MP3 Players. iPods are just one out of thousands of types of MP3 Players.
